Xylem Inc. is a global water technology company dedicated to solving the world’s most challenging water issues. It’s listed on the New York Stock Exchange with revenues in excess of $5 billion (2018) and does business in more than 150 countries. The company’s products and services move, treat, analyze, monitor and return water to the environment in public utility, industrial, residential and commercial building services settings.
Through its acclaimed corporate social responsibility program, Watermark, Xylem is empowering its 17,000 employees to share their time and passion to solve water challenges big and small. Xylem’s Goulds Water Technology brand approached Branigan about expanding its corporate philanthropy efforts in the residential segment.
Branigan facilitated a strategic partnership between Xylem and The Chris Long Foundation, founded by the retired NFL star. Through the domestic extension of his successful Waterboys project in Africa, Hometown H2o partnered with Goulds Water Technology, the Water Well Trust and Goulds Water Technology partners to provide clean, safe water to families in need in the United States.
In addition to promoting the partnership and the ensuing projects through traditional media relations, a robust outreach via social media raised awareness of the philanthropic efforts locally and nationally.
